Skin in the Game

We Do Better When You Do Better.

NDM’s pricing model is not just a billing structure. It is an alignment of incentives.

North Star Direct Management is paid as a percentage of collections, which means the company’s success is tied directly to the financial performance of the revenue cycle it helps manage.

The relationship should feel like a partnership rather than a flat fee disconnected from outcomes.

Partnership Levels

Three Levels of Revenue-Cycle Support.

Each level takes on more revenue-cycle responsibility — and the percentage reflects that. Choose the level that matches your practice.

Not Sure?

Not Sure Which Level Fits Your Practice?

Essential Billing

A good fit if your practice mainly needs reliable claims submission, payment posting, denial handling, and monthly reporting.

Growth Optimization

A good fit if your practice also needs stronger insurance follow-up, A/R management, appeals, and credentialing support.

Full Revenue Cycle Partnership

A good fit if you want NDM deeply involved in the broader financial and operational side of the revenue cycle.

Project-Based Support

Need Help With a Specific Revenue-Cycle Project?

Some needs fall outside an ongoing RCM relationship. Project-based services are billed separately, with scope and pricing defined up front.

AR Cleanup Projects

For practices with aging or disorganized accounts receivable that need focused attention outside of ongoing billing management.

Pricing

15%–25% of recovered collections

Practice Startup Setup

Support for new behavioral health practices that need help establishing the billing and revenue-cycle foundation required to begin operating.

Pricing

$750–$1,500 flat fee

Credentialing Projects

Standalone credentialing support for practices that need payer credentialing assistance without an ongoing NDM RCM relationship. This is different from the credentialing assistance included within applicable ongoing service relationships.

Pricing

$300–$500 per provider, per payer

How It's Billed

Ongoing Partnership vs. Project-Based Support.

The percentage-of-collections tiers are designed for ongoing billing and revenue-cycle relationships. Project-based services are billed separately when a practice needs focused help with a specific issue or setup need.

Ongoing RCM Partnership

  • Percentage of collections
  • Recurring support
  • Defined services by tier
  • Ongoing revenue-cycle management

Project-Based Support

  • Separate project fee
  • Defined scope
  • Shorter-term need
  • AR cleanup, startup setup, or standalone credentialing
Plain Language

What Does "Percentage of
Collections" Mean?

NDM's fee is calculated as a percentage of collections under the applicable service agreement. Rather than a flat monthly fee, the amount NDM is paid moves with the revenue actually collected through the revenue cycle it helps manage.

That structure keeps incentives aligned: NDM's compensation is connected to the work of turning claims into collected revenue, not simply to the number of claims submitted.

Why It Matters

Know the Structure Before the
Conversation.

NDM wants practices to understand the general pricing model before booking a consultation. The purpose is to reduce uncertainty and let the conversation focus on what's actually happening in the practice.

  • Current billing challenges
  • Practice size
  • A/R
  • Existing workflows
  • Credentialing needs
  • Which level of support is appropriate

Still Not Sure Which Level You Need?

Start With the Practice, Not the Package.

You do not need to know which tier is right before reaching out. Tell us what is happening with your billing, claims, A/R, credentialing, or revenue visibility, and we can talk through what level of support makes sense.
